Under the Fair Housing Act (FHA), individuals with qualifying emotional or mental health conditions have the right to live with an emotional support animal — even in housing that typically restricts pets.
Landlords must allow your animal, even in “no-pet” properties
Pet rent and deposits must be waived
You can’t be denied housing just because of your support animal
More than one animal may qualify if it's part of your legitimate emotional need

Texas Service Animals & Eddie made me a very happy client! Services were very professional, efficient and fast! I have recommended Eddie & TSA to a few friends & family who need ESA documentation as well. 10/10 service!
Best service by far! Eddie was so easy to work with. I had trouble getting any responses to my request for a licensed ESA. I was impressed with how quick and professional Eddie was. I recommend you reach out to him if you want excellent service! Thank you Eddie!

An Emotional Support Animal (ESA) provides comfort simply by being present. An ESA letter allows you to avoid pet rent and housing restrictions.
A Psychiatric Service Dog (PSD) is trained to perform specific tasks for a mental health condition — like interrupting anxiety attacks or waking you from nightmares. PSDs are allowed in more places, including public spaces and airlines. We can help determine which one is the right fit during your consultation.
Yes, you do need a formal diagnosis to qualify. However, many people experience minor or major mental health challenges. If your pet helps you feel emotionally balanced, reduces anxiety, or supports you through life transitions, you may already meet the criteria under federal housing law. Our licensed Texas providers will guide you through the process gently and respectfully.
Yes — our letters are written by licensed Texas mental health professionals and comply with Fair Housing Act (FHA) guidelines. If your landlord has questions, we’re available to support you and provide clarification as needed.
You won't be charged. We offer a 100% qualification guarantee — meaning if you’re not eligible after your consultation, you owe nothing. Most people are surprised to find out they do qualify once they understand the criteria.
